Find More Posts by beachboy2. Under that directory is liunx I assume we refer to as the "kernel tree" -- long list of subdirectories and 4 files. As your "ifconfig -a" differs, you two obviously have different problems.

Open Bslkin Consulting Domain Registration. It looks like the permissions on the files in that directory are a problem for root to make changes. Ubuntu details - No LSB modules are available.
